“Keep the company of those who seek the truth, and run from those who have found it.”
– Vaclav Havel

When it comes to navigating the world of Spirituality, wading through all the conflicting teachings and healing options and willful confusion can be frustrating and off-setting. There are many Ancient, noble traditions that offer useful tools and help to the earnest seeker—but unfortunately, charlatans (a person practicing quackery or some similar confidence trick in order to obtain money, fame, or other advantages via some form of pretense or deception), Spiritual frauds can easily corrupt their client; They are known as a Spiritual Hacker. (Please see blog post on ‘Spiritual Hackers’). In addition to being confusing, these teachings and healings could be dangerous or manipulative in the wrong hands. But how can one know the difference between effective methods and manipulative shams?  How can one know if the Spiritualist works with Christ or the Devil?

Here are a few ways to recognize Spiritual charlatans:

1.) The person smiles, yet their eyes do not!

In choosing a Spiritual Healing facilitator, Reiki Practioner, or an intuitive Clairvoyant or Spiritual Medium, look into the persons eyes.  If their eyes are bright as the sun and seem to smile when they do smile, they serve Christ.  If they smile and their eyes are dull, or the eyes are glazed over and they seem to look past you, Christ in not yet within their heart!  This is the first sign that the ‘Spiritual charlatan’ does not serve Christ.  It is very easy for one to be lead astray by those who do not serve Christ or work with the Holy Spirit.  Do not be lead astray by fake psychics, sorcerers, or false prophets.

2.) Charging Exorbitant Amounts of Money

Another red flag is being charged incredible large sums of money, especially for goods or services that have no quantifiable effect on you or any solid effect in the real world. Is someone charging you $200 – $1000 for a short session to “bring more light to your Astral Body” or “cut your negative vibrational emotional cords”?  Do you even know what they mean by this, exactly?  Can they explain it without the use of vague, cliche or confusing terminology, and are you just accepting their definitions without critical thinking or analysis? What is the basis for their claims?

One of the major drawbacks of approaching Spirituality in the framework of consumerism isn’t always the amount of money charged, or even that money is involved—it’s the idea that Spiritual regeneration, which takes years of hard work and dedication to improving oneself, can simply be traded like a commodity, in an instant. When it comes to the Great Work of the Holy Spirit, larger amounts of money do not equal quicker or higher quality enlightenment, and there is no “bang for your buck.”  Large amounts of money for a session only mean that the ‘Spiritual charlatan,’ is run by Greed, which is in fact, one of the seven deadly sins.

So be careful. Trust yourself. Do you really think you can erase or heal decades of emotional trauma in the blink of an eye or in just one session?  Try to be skeptical without being cynical, use critical thinking and remember—only the tools for the Work (the Holy Spirit) can be given to you, not the fruits of the labor.

3.) The Spiritual Fraud calls them self a Healer or a Psychic!

If a person calls them self a Healer or a Psychic, run for the hills.  We are not Healers and the Psychic realm is that of the ‘Psyche’ or Purgatory of man consciousness, (aka Pride, also known as Vanity, Envy, also known as jealousy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, also known as Wrath, Greed, and Sloth, also known as lack of physical activity and/or a disconnect from Spirit.). We are but mere vessels for Christ to work through us.  Any Spiritual healing is administered by a ‘Healing Facilitator.’  The ‘Healing Facilitator’ opens themselves up to the ‘Life Force,’ or as Christians call it, ‘the Holy Spirit.’  No one is a Healer!  If you call yourself a Healer or the ‘Spiritual charlatan’ calls them self a healer, you or they, take on the healing of their client.  No one can claim something that is not theirs to give.   There are individuals who allow healing energy to flow through them, but true Healing Facilitators, never call themselves a Healer.  A ‘Healing Facilitator’ always gives their work up to Spirit, Life Force, Christ, or the Holy Spirit, never claiming anything for themselves.  Yeshua the Christ never called himself a Healer.  Nor did he call himself a Psychic, Mystic, Wizard, Witch, Shaman, or Sorcerer.  Yeshua called himself a Christ!  The Christ!

4.) There is no such thing as a Psychic!

If you understand the 3rd Dimensional realm or vibration of man, you will realize that it is very much connected to the Mental Psyche or the emotional aspect of man.  Anyone who calls themselves a ‘Psychic’ pulls emotions and thoughts from their client’s mind.  Sometimes the ‘Psychic’ says that they work with a ‘Master Guide’ that gives them there information.  It is crucial for the client to ask who the Psychic works with.  If it is not the Holy Spirit, Yeshua, or any of the other Saints or Angels, please, cancel the appointment and get as far away from the ‘Psychic’ as possible.  It is very easy for one to get manipulated and controlled by Beings that are not of the Holy Spirit or Christ.  Some Psychics claim that they work with God.  Whose God do they work with?  There are many Gods, yet there is only one Creator.  There is only one ‘Life Force.’  There is only one ‘Holy Spirit!’  No where in the Christian, Judea, Muslim, or any ancient biblical text, reference the word ‘Psychic!’

5.) The Spiritualist’s greatest sin is Vanity and Greed!

If you are searching for an Evangelist, Spiritual Teacher, or a Spiritual Healing Facilitator online, one of the greatest red flags is how many pictures of them selves they have on their website.  Do they have an explicable amount of pictures of themselves.  Are the pictures professionally done?  Again, the greatest sin of the ‘Spiritual Fraud,’ is Vanity and Greed, both one of the seven deadly sins.

6.) The false Prophet, Evangelist

Unfortunately, Yehoshua stated that many false prophets would arise, who evangelize and cast out demons, preach the gospel, but they do not adhere to teaching their followers the law, (Ten Commandments: Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5) and Yehoshua’s commands (Two Commands: Matthew 22:37-40), or even know the Messiah through the name he was given at birth. How can you read the Gospel, without memorizing the law? An Evangelism Degree is nothing more than a glorified certificate that says, ‘I Am a Fraud!’ If the Bible Study, Evangelist Universities don’t teach their Preachers to memorize the 12 Commandments, know sin, and live in heavenly virtue, they are preaching the Gospel blindly, leading God’s children into an unknown trap and oppression.

They only help those who come to their church, but dismiss those who are unable. They charge inexplicable amounts of money for deliverance and than don’t teach the law, they don’t teach about the 7 deadly sins, or that heavenly virtue extinguishes sin. Unfortunately, those who go to Deliverance Ministers, will need more than one exorcism, because it is a sham! True Evangelism, delivers their followers completely!

Shalom/Shlama Alakoom;
Peace be with you!
